It is our policy to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your products, prints, and services. If you are not satisfied for ANY reason upon receipt of your products or viewing of your proofs, simply send us a message from our "contact us" page.
We take every measure to ensure the quality of our products and provide you with beautiful, long lasting photographs.
Here are just a few of the steps we take to ensure your satisfaction:
- All of our photos are soft proofed using our printer's ICC color profile. This ensures that the photograph you see isn't different* from the photograph you get.
- Each photo is printed upon order and inspected by hand to ensure quality printing and photo reproduction
- Each frame is made to order and inspected by hand for cracks, chips, discolorations, and other imperfections to ensure quality
- All of our orders are packaged using professional materials and insured for safety.
- All of our orders are insured during shipping. If you product arrives damaged we will replace it or refund your money AND handle the insurance claims process.
If after all that, for some reason you still just aren't satisfied with your product, no worries, we don't want you to get stuck with something you don't like! Just email us at customerservice_fotoshak.net so we can take care of you.
Terms of Guarantee
Products, prints, merchandise
For all products and prints fotoShak requires all returns to be filed within 1 week of delivery date. We will first offer to replace, change, or modify your order to ensure your satisfaction. If you are not happy with our solutions and want to return your items we will refund 100% of the purchase price (shipping not included). Return shipping is responsibility of buyer.
For damaged items please photograph the damaged items and email us within 24 hours of delivery. Damaged returns will not be refunded if notification of delivery damage occurs after 24 hours from delivery
Services
For portraits, weddings, and engagement photography services client will be able to view final albums and approve or dissapprove. If you are not satisfied with your photos we will first try to rectify the issue how we deem appropriate. If you are still not satisfied, we will refund the service price EXCLUDING any deposits. If client's choose a refund, they will not get any of their photos and prints ordered prior to album takedown will result in a forfeit of any refund. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of proofing and/or album display.
*Can't guarantee exact identical copy due to differences in monitor specs and quality. We do guarantee it won't be too different from what you see.

A: Most major cities in the continental U.S. fotoShak has a network of photographers across the country that we guarantee can get the photos you want. We are always reviewing photographer portfolios and adding new ones to the team. Even if we dont currently have a photographer in your area, we will search for one for you! We can look over their portfolio and style and email you when we find the photographer right for you, free of charge! Simply email us with your city, time frame, and specific photography needs and we will make sure you get the shots you want!

A: We will send you an email when your album is online and ready for viewing. There is a link to your album in the email. If you are not the primary owner, you will need the album name and password to view the album. When you have this information, click on the "Client Photos" tab on our Homepage. It will lead you to our Client Photo Site. Your album should be listed on this page. If it is not or the link in your email did not work, please message us with your name and the event name so we can get your photos online for viewing.
A: At fotoShak our goal is to make sure we deliver exceptional quality for great prices. If you are not satisfied for any reason, we want to make it right! For details and instructions on how to make sure you get the quality you deserve and paid for, please click the satisfaction guarantee tab to your left.
A: As you browse through either our pro albums or a client online photo album simply click the "Buy" button located directly above your photo. You can either purchase one specific photo at a time or several from an album at a time. Once selecting "this photo" option, you will be prompted to add the prints and/or merchandise to your cart. You can crop your selections as you go. To order merchandise simply look for the tab on this cart screen. YOU CANNOT ORDER FRAMED PHOTOS THROUGH THE GALLERY, to do this you must write down your photo name and go to the "frame it!" section of our website.
A: Unfortunately right now you have to purchase Frame it! products separately from the prints and merchandise you can purchase through the online galleries. Currently our print merchandise go to our professional printers and our Frame it! products are made by pro framers. Why? To offer you the highest quality for the lowest prices. We are looking to integrate the two systems in the near future .
A: If you are the owner of the album simply email us and we will send you a password. If the album is an event album or are friends/family of the album owner, email us with your name and we will contact the owner to make sure that they approve. If so, then we will send you the password. If they don't approve, unfortunately we cannot release the password.
